Gigabyte’s Low-Cost Mini-ITX A620 Motherboard Supports Ryzen R9 7950X, R9 7950X3D CPUs

Gigabyte has made its place in the gaming and tech industry by introducing efficient and reliable products at affordable prices. Similarly, Gigabyte brings the low-cost Mini-ITX A620 Motherboard to the table that supports high to mid-range processors, including Ryzen R9 7950X and R9 7950X3D CPUs.

Gigabyte A620I-AX comes with an A620 chipset in a small ITX form factor, and it is specifically designed for Ryzen 7000 series CPUs.  Although the A620 chipset is relatively cheaper, ‌it caters to all the essential needs of these processors, which justifies the low cost of this mini ITX A620. In addition to this, A620I-AX  motherboards manage to handle processors with different TDPs, such as Ryzen 5 7600 and Ryzen 7 7700 have 65W TDP, Ryzen 9 7950X and 7900X has 170W TDP and processors that support 3D V-cache including Ryzen 9 7950X3D,  Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and Ryzen 7 7800X3D gives TDP of 120W.

Besides the AMD 7000 series, it is capable of supporting all the upcoming Ryzen CPUs that support AM5 sockets. It offers two DDR5 DIMM slots that support dual-channel technology. Each slot can support up to ‌‌48 GB of single modules, which makes a total of 96 GB of memory support. Not only this! It supports a memory speed up to 6400GHz, which ultimately increases the bandwidth. This increased bandwidth increases the performance and allows you to run modern games and demanding applications on Ryzen 7000 processors.  However, it is important to note that it does not support extreme overclocking.

But Gigabyte might charge a bit extra since it supports the Ryzen R9 7950X and R9 7950X3D CPUs. So let’s see if this motherboard is as budget-friendly as we hope when it finally arrives – no pressure!
