ASUS PRIME N100I-D D4: Fanless Mini-ITX Motherboard with Intel N100

Asus revealed the latest ASUS PRIME N100I-D D4 motherboard of its Prime series which maximizes the full potential of the Intel N100 processor. The Asus Prime N100I-D D4 is powered by Intel N100, featuring fanless operation with comprehensive cooling solutions. This Mini-ITX form factor measures 6.7 inches x 6.7 inches (17cm x 17cm).

This innovative motherboard is designed to deliver a powerful delivery system with an Intel  N100  chipset. However, the N100I chipset is itself a low-to-mid-range processor with 4 cores and 4 threads, used for everyday tasks. ASUS PRIME N100I-D D4 enhanced productivity supports DDR4 up to 3200 and only runs SO-DIMM in a single channel and can hold RAM modules up to 16 GB but you don’t need to worry as the N100  chipset is not designed for exceptional speed.

N100I-D D4 also offers an efficient cooling system to dissipate heat including heat sinks and thermal pads. Although it is fanless, it still features a 4-pin chassis fan header which is regulated with ASUS software. Other software includes ASUS CPU-Z, ASUS EZ DIY, UEFI BIOS, ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3, ASUS EZ Flash 3, and Norton 3360 Deluxe. 

In terms of expansion, it offers PCI Express 3.0 (x1) slot,  SATA ports, M.2 slot (Key M) for storage, and M.2 Key E slot for wireless cards. While in terms of connectivity, it offers the following ports:
